How do you replace the tie boots Arm / direction in a AE86?
is the adjustment of steering arm is supposed to be defeated all of the way? right, but undo pulling through the screw, which had to be at undooing for 10 minutes and complete the steering lock is the way to do this?
Just enough to cancel to get the boot and put the new one. It is easier to cut the old boot off. EDIT: No, do not loosen the screw. You pop the end of rod axis. Take the nut at the end, put a piece of wood on the bottom of the cylinder head, and then smacking the wood with a hammer. Do not hit the end of the bolt naked with a hammer, or never get the nut again later. The wheel must be based on full lock which side you're doing. Make sure the car was fired so that the pilot is free to both front wheels.
